Barbara creates beautiful artwork, sculptures and jewellery, incorporating metals sourced from recycling plants and metal industries. These recycled metals include siding torn down from buildings, industrial parts or found objects that inspire her. Barbara hand forges, flame paints, etches or oxidizes these metals, transforming them into sculptural designs to complement her contemporary paintings and wearable art. She mainly aligns the metal on her artwork and jewellery to the left, which grew into her signature trademark and generated the name of her art studio: Left Align Design.
