Sudbury Women in Art

Sudbury Women in Art curated by Johanna Westby and Chantal Abdel-Nour features artwork by 23 women who have made a significant contribution to the visual arts community in Sudbury. The first iteration of Sudbury Women in Art was presented at Cambrian College’s Open Studio in March 2018. The exhibition is accompanied by a publication featuring biographies and interviews with each artist. Books will be available for purchase for $ 25.00. Participating artists include Chantal Abdel-Nour, Adrienne Assinewai, Rachelle Bergeron, Leesa Bringas, Kathy Browning, Rose Cardinal, Joan Chivot, Danielle Daniel, Laura Gillard, Sarah King Gold, Monique Legault, Rosie Maddock, Kim McKibbon, Rae Miranda, Neli Nenkova, Ruth Reid, Carole Rodrigue, Sydney Rose, Trish Stenabaugh, Colette Theriault, Heather Topp, Johanna Westby, Dineen Worth. Sudbury Women in Art will be on display at the Art Gallery of Sudbury until Sunday, May 13, 2018.
