[Updated] 22 April 2024 – The Art Gallery of Sudbury’s operations have been temporarily re-located to 172 and 174 Elgin Street. Spring and Summer Camp art education programs have been re-located to Sudbury Secondary School – Adult Education Centre.

14 December 2023 – We regret to convey that the Bell Mansion building that houses the Art Gallery of Sudbury | Galerie d’art de Sudbury has been temporarily closed for structural analysis and repair.

Additions to the Collections Portal
[28 March 2024] – The Art Gallery of Sudbury | Galerie d’art de Sudbury announces the addition of over 600 artworks by regional artists Mary Green and Doug Donley from the collections to the online Collections Portal.
This digital initiative, now containing over 800 works of art and artifacts in a searchable portal allows for easy discovery and research of gallery holdings. This project includes digital content development, digitization and the creation and graphic design of virtual exhibitions and an online archive of works and artistic ephemera presented in three languages: English, French, and Anishinaabemowin.
