Emily Sportan at The Laughing Buddha

Emily Sportan is a freelance illustrator, born and raised in Sudbury. A self taught artist, Emily’s been illustrating as long as she can remember, her work stretching across a variety of mediums. The subject matter of her pieces focus mainly on intimacy and queer love, with her bold colour palettes contrasting with softer themes. She originally began her freelance career working a variety of local fundraising events and festivals, but now sells her work through her online store, “Art by Astronoht”.
