Odinamaad Narciso Kagagins Noganosh (Isaac Weber)

Odinamaad Narciso Kagagins Noganosh (Isaac Weber) is Turtle Clan of Henvey Inlet First Nation.  He’s a graduate of Ontario Collage of Art and Design (OCAD) in Toronto, Ontario, which has finely tuned his artistic practise. Working directly on canvas, the artist experiments with oil paint, acrylic paint, spray paint, and watercolour. The results from the experimentation are large, abstract forms that merge into Indigenous imagery and messaging.

Odinamaad Narciso Kagagins Noganosh (Isaac Weber) was recently selected to participate in the Power Up project, a component of Up Here 2017 in downtown Sudbury. His distinctive style is featured on two Greater Sudbury Utilities boxes: one across from the Good Samaritan Centre on Elgin Street and one in front of Sherwin-Williams Paint Store on Lorne Street.

Odinamaad Narciso Kagagins Noganosh (Isaac Weber) grew up near Rotterdam, Netherlands and Toronto, Ontario. His roots are grounded in his home community of Henvey Inlet First Nation, Ontario, and he has recently settled in Sudbury, Ontario.
